Bianca van de Noort is inmiddels al acht jaar werkzaam bij DOCFactory als Manager Bedrijfsvoering en vertelt over DOCFactory en hun kantoorruimte bij Tauro.
Provide support for information management
In 2010, DOCFactory was founded by Monique Vermeulen, Laurens Verbeek and Michiel de Koning. This trio had been working in the information management field for years, so they decided to start a company together: DOCFactory.
Informatiemanagement is het beheren en managen van informatie die ondersteuning biedt bij het behalen van doelstellingen van de organisatie.
Bianca: ‘DOCFactory supports its relations in setting up their information organisation in a sustainable and accessible way, so that the right decisions can be taken, accountability can be ensured and cultural-historical value is safeguarded.’ Actually all organisations where information is crucially important fall under DOCFactory’s target group.
Sociable, open and professional
DOCFactory’s team has grown considerably over the years. Currently, the team consists of 60 colleagues. From information specialists and consultants to project management and, last but not least, the operational staff who provide a stable and always approachable home base in Rijswijk. At DOCFactory, people take centre stage. They would describe themselves as an organisation in a few words, namely: social, open, cordial, professional and approachable. Bianca: ‘Every working day at DOCFactory is different and that makes it fun. Meetings and interviews with applicants always surprise. No interview is the same. It goes from fun, sociable, profound and superficial to very special and special. That’s what makes my work diverse and dynamic and I love it.’
“How I ended up at DOCFactory is kind of a great story,’ Bianca says. ‘I have always worked in the administrative corner. I started 35 years ago as an administrative assistant at Monique Vermeulen’s first company. So that’s how I knew her and I eventually started at DOCFactory in 2015. In my job, I have a lot of freedom and deal with tasks that give me a lot of energy. For example, I work on further professionalising DOCFactory as a company, recruiting and selecting new colleagues and, of course, maintaining contact with all DOCFactory colleagues.”

Inmiddels huurt DOCFactory al ruim 13 jaar een kantoorruimte bij Tauro in Rijswijk. Bianca: “Bij de start in 2010 was er behoefte aan een centrale, prettige en zakelijke locatie met de nodige faciliteiten zodat de focus van Laurens, Michiel en Monique kon liggen op de bouw van het bedrijf. In de loop van de jaren is het bedrijf heel erg gegroeid. Wat begon met het huren van een kleine kantoorunit bij Tauro is uitgegroeid tot de huur van vier grotere en zeer diverse ruimtes. Het is fijn dat Tauro de mogelijkheid biedt te groeien binnen het gebouw.”
DOCFactory also finds it important that the office space is presentable and clean and that there is good service from Tauro. Fortunately, this is the case, which is why they are very happy with their place at Tauro Rijswijk. ‘It is also nice that there are separate meeting rooms in the building that we can rent so that we can meet with several colleagues or any relation(s),’ Bianca says.
